Introducing GLights 6
After months of hard work, we bring you a major update - GLights are now even more powerful and versatile for your productions. We have implemented many new big features and improvements that will make your experience even better.
GLights 6 used at the September 2024 event
New features
- Updated panel design with mobile improvements, making the buttons easier to use
- New colour picker makes it easy to add more colours while in-game
- Follow spotlights enable you to keep your performers well-lit
- Bars add a new way of lighting up your productions
- LEDs are now much easier to create, no longer requiring complicated workarounds
- Beam controls give you the option of having your beams be turned on or off
- Reset buttons make it easy to reset all of your lights quickly
- Customise your fixtures and functions with model templates
- Whitelist users, groups, game passes or teams with ease
- Streaming support lets you benefit from performance improvements

- Added 3 new state cues and 1 new colour cue
- Added ability to control a single group with scripts
- Added ability to choose how many groups are affected by Cue3
- Added ability to invert custom positions by right clicking

- Added “Gobo Rotate” and “Gobo Spread” slider
- Added non-random and smooth variants of Tilt and Pan cues

- Added a “ServerPhysics” setting, useful for moving trusses
- Added “StartTilt” and “StartPan” settings to set the starting angles
Improvements and fixes
- Performance improvements
- Lights now turn back on if they were on before a cue got activated
- “Circle” cue no longer breaks when a player’s FPS is higher than 60
- “ClientSided” is no longer required to be set to false when using in a prop
- Gradient colours (like rainbow) can now be static
- Left-click and right-click functions of the reset button have been flipped
- Topbar label is now the folder name by default unless it is changed
- “UniqueName” setting has been removed
- Lenses now change colour instead of transparency
- Lights no longer flash when fading
- Improved error and warning messages
- Simplified adding more panels

GLights Updater plugin
With this plugin, you will be able to update your existing GLights 5 setup to GLights 6. The plugin will attempt to replace your lights and panels with the new versions. You can get the plugin for free from the Creator Store.
Camera System improvements
During the development of the Gybasoft September 2024 event, the camera system received fixes to some issues that we had occured. This improved version is being released for everyone, improving your experience.
- Added a “NewBezier” attribute to moving cameras, which prevents big spins from appearing
- Added “AccelerateStart” and “DecelerateEnd” attributes to moving cameras, which allow you to override the default settings for the selected camera
- FOV is now able to be changed instantly, including on the first point of a moving camera
- Transition length now gets applied correctly during transitions
- It is no longer necessary to change SignalBehavior of Workspace
StacyPilot plugin improvements
The plugin has been redesigned to fit the new design of Gybasoft, giving it a consistent fresh look. All the functionality is still available like before, letting you insert the StacyPilot system and multiple different add-ons.
